It is amazing to me to read stories like this. My daughter is extremely farsighted and got her first pair of glasses at 15 months. We discovered it the same way...noticing her eye turning in. Your words are like reading my own reaction-my fears, my anxieties and my absurd shallow concerns....and also on top of all of it, feeling grateful because things could be so much worse for our babies. Makenna has had glasses now for a year and half and it is still amazes me how well she has managed to adjust to this and embrace her glasses, she loves them. She loves being able to see! I still have lots of worries and what ifs but we will figure it out as time goes on. I wish your little girl the best of luck in this journey and also good luck to you...the mama of a baby in glasses:) Thanks for sharing this!

I saw your post on Little Four Eyes, and I can COMPLETELY echo your feelings. You just happen to have put them so much more beautifully than I ever could have when my baby got her glasses at 13 months :) I've got another little beauty headed to the eye doctor soon... we'll see if she follows in her big sister's footsteps. I hope your transition to the world of babies in glasses is smooth and sweet. Even in this seemingly minor issue, you will bond with your daughter in a way you never thought possible. Believe me. You evidently adore her- keep adoring.
