Awww, mama. I’m sure your little princess looks extra ADORABLE in her glasses! But I can still imagine what you’re going through. When you become a parent you just want to do everything possible to ensure life will be easy and happy for your baby. I was a bespectacled little girl too. I had eye muscle surgery at a month old and started wearing glasses just a few months later. I’m with your sister — it ain’t so bad! And then when I turned 16 I discovered the world of contacts.

Becca – I went through a similar situation when Rachel was in a body cast. Just remember the glasses are helping Belle to see and I kept on thinking the cast will help Rachel to walk. As I am still going through “stuff” with Rachel it is all correctable and not life threatening. Have a great day and give Belle a kiss from me….xoxoxo Marlene
