This morning’s wake up was a typical one;
My daughter roused early and spent time playing in her room. That was until about 6:15 when I heard her calling for me, somewhat frantically.
I hopped out of bed and went straight to her room.
“Mommy!” I heard her crying.
“I NEED to hear ‘Defying Gravity!'”
Okay.
And her sharp cries woke up the baby. Another country heard from.
I gathered my eldest and we made our way down the hall towards our babies room, and she charged in.
“Mama!” he cried.
“He said ‘Mama’!” Shouted my daughter.
I picked him up and put him on his changing table as my daughter stood on the stool in his room to turn on the light.
Something must have happened because she said “Uh oh” and wouldn’t you know it, the baby echoed her with an “Uh oh” of his own.
My daughter gasped.
And then she walked over to us.
“Well mom, talking baby? Check!”
