tonight, as I read my daughter her bedtime story,
I looked down at her piggies

and spotted her most recent adornment; a beaded rainbow anklet.

She must have picked it up, somewhere between teeth brushing and lullabies.
And I couldn’t help but to think two things:
She’s right! Who doesn’t need to bring a rainbow, beaded anklet to da crib
and
my daughter is officially cooler than I am.
But seriously.
Beads are the new black.
At least that’s what she said.
