who, up until this point, has been sucking on her two fingers,

just found her thumb.

Now, while this may not seem like big news for some people,

it is pretty darn exciting for this former thumb connoisseur.

wonderful years of my life with my thumb glued to my mouth. And hey, it didn’t cause too much permanent damage.

So, for better or for worse, I say,

Viva La Thumbsucking, thumbs are here to stay!

Now, if only she could find her ear and start to woobie it like I did,

(read: do)

then we’d really be in business.  I’ll have to teach her that cold ears are the best. She has so much to learn.

But, I’ll bend you ear with that story some other time.

For now, I have a thumbsucker to tend to.
