The same happened to me with the water breaking. I was in the hospital (in labor) and told them my water broke as they were doing something in the room. The nurse told me, “No, it hadn’t.” I replied, well either my water broke or I’ve been peeing on myself for the last half hour. Finally later on they told me my water broke (Like I said, right?) Oh but the best part? They told me I wasn’t having contractions (I had back labor). Silly nurses.

They may have gone to medical school, but mother knows best (intuition is always right).
