“When Your Baby Needs Glasses” (Mommy, Ever After meets ScaryMommy.com)

As you know, I have written a great deal on this site about my children and their glasses.

When my daughter first got glasses at 13 months, I wrote all about my undulating stages of emotion, from sadness to acceptance to gratitude, and how I have evolved.

I am thrilled to say that I got a chance to broaden my audience this week, as Scary Mommy published an article that I wrote just for their site, entitled, “When Your Baby Gets Glasses“.

It is an honor to be featured on a site that has such wonderful contributors, and I am even taking the scathing comments in stride. Some people think that I am shallow, or that I have never experienced anything truly “bad”; that I lack perspective. Okay. They can think that. You know the truth.

So, if you want to see the post that got me my first batch of negative comments EVER,

give it a quick read over on Scary Mommy .

Oh, and I hope that you are well…and by well I mean  Spectacular.

And looking pretty.

That’s all I really care about, anyway.
