When I watch my little girl
as she carries her baby dolls around,
kissing them,
holding them so gently,
rocking them in her arms saying “Niiiiii. Niiiii.” (Nice.),
feeding them bites of her chicken and sips of her milk, as she says, “Num! Nummy!” and clucks her tongue, mimicking how to eat and drink…
As I watch my little girl showing her little babies so much love,
I can’t help but to think,
at least I must have done something right.
