From “A Farewell to (I so love having both of my babies in my) Arms”

by, Ernest Miller Hemingwayphoto-3

“My life used to be full of everything. Now if you aren’t with me I haven’t a thing in the world.”

A candid moment captured; singing two babies to sleep.
To their hearts I’m tied,
as I lullaby.
One is sucking his thumb, the other is smiling.
I don’t know what I did to deserve these two blessings.
The warmth of your smile,
smile for me, little one.
This will be our year,
took a long time to come.
