Let me just set the scene:

It’s 6:30 and I have been in and out of the tail end of my slumber for the last half hour.
My daughter’s light has been on since 6.
We’ve now instructed her to play in her room when she wakes until we come and get her.
She was quiet, but I heard her voice, so I assumed she was reading softly to herself.
I got out of bed, walked in to see my daughter
naked
in platform flip flops
with a rainbow colored party hat on her head
and one on her nose.
And with glitter on her belly button.
“Oh! Hi, mom!” She said.
“I just wanted to be sparkly.”
