3 reasons why being married to my husband doesn’t feel like hard labor:

Reason #1:
This morning, I yelled at my husband for using the new, cool, sparkly, blue toothbrush, and leaving me with the red version.
Me: “Don’t you even know was my second favorite color is?!?!?!?”
Husb: “Blue?”
Me: “NO, it is NOT blue. It is aqua.
Husb: “Do you want to switch toothbrushes, then? I’m more than happy to trade.”
Me: “Ew, no. Talk to the hand.”
(or something like that)
Husband: “Do you even know what my second favorite color is?”
Me: “I don’t even care. What? Green?”
Husband: “NO! It is NOT Green. It is Gossamer.”

Reason #2:
Later this morning, I pulled out a new shirt and asked my husband to throw it into the wash.
I don’t know what compelled me to sniff this white, long sleeve t-shirt, but I did, and was promptly amazed.
Me: “OMG! Wanna hear something soo funny?”
Husb: “What’s up?”
Me: “See this shirt? It’s Trish McEvoy #3! The person who tried it on must have been wearing Trish 3#! Not #11. #3. Here. Smell. Isn’t that so funny??!?”
Husb: “You’re kidding!! It’s 3!??! OMG, I was sure it was #6!!”

Reason 3#:
Even later this morning, on our way out the door,
the husband stopped, pivoted, and asked, “Do you have any more silly bandz? One of mine broke.”

Yes, those are just 3 of the reasons why being married to my husband doesn’t feel like hard labor.
He makes me laugh;
Even on Labor Day.
