My holiday gift to you…

Readers, Dear–
I must thank you, once more, for sticking by me
as I am learning navigate through this Land of Mom.
We’ve shared our (my) ups,
we’ve shared our (my; again.) downs,
and, now, I am thrilled to announce to you
that we will be sharing a very special Girls’ Night Out!
That’s right,
the moment you’ve all been waiting for…
A Mommy, Ever After Girls’ Night Out Party
and it’s just for you
(which means it’s very exclusive, natch).
Whether you’re a mommy, a friend, an aunt, a bubby, a sister, a teacher…you deserve a fabulous night out,
to eat, drink, be merry, shop and ring in the holiday season with girl friends, old and new.
And, just let me tell you, you’re in for a treat.

Today, I had the distinct privilege of having lunch with the lovely Mercury of PBandU, Peanut Butter Creations, in Wayne, PA.
As I dined on her personal favorite peanut butter sandwhich,
peanut butter, apple and cheddar cheese on toasted whole wheat,
she told me all about her family’s long-time dream of opening  a shop in which families could enjoy great quality, satisfying, healthy and, most of all, delicious snacks. And with that, PBandU was born.
Let me just let you in on a little secret.
The aforementioned peanut butter sandwhich?
Best. PB. Sandwich. Of. My. Life.
And, the best part? Mercury is going to be having a little “peanut” of her own any minute now.
And so, Mommy, Ever After, PBandU and The Whole Enchilada PR
proudly present,
Girls’ Night Out at PBandU
on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 7pm
at PBandU
163 East Lancaster Ave.
Wayne, PA 19087
As a thank you to my most fabulous, tutu wearing, peanut butter smearing readers,
we invite you to a lovely ladies night,
so that you can enjoy an evening out,
drink wine,
sample some of the amazing peanut butter creations
(think peanut butter, nutella, fluff and m&ms on toasted bread. No, I’m not kidding. Yes, you’re invited. Yes, you can bring a friend.)
And even better? While you wine and dine, you’ll also be treated to an exclusive showing of  accessories from Wayne’s own Kat Bradley Boutique.
You’ll get to try on and enjoy their most beautiful pieces, and ladies, it’s no accident that we made this party the night before Hanukkah. Just trust me.
I am so thrilled to have the chance to spend this fabulous girls’ night with all of you,
and to thank you for being here for me
each day
and each diaper
of my journey.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Oh, and in case we haven’t met,
I’ll be the one with the peanut butter on my blouse.
That’s just the way I roll.
Love Always,
Mommy

Hi… I was told by my OB that expectant moms should stay away from peanut butter (esp in massive quantities) because in some people it provokes a peanut allergy in the baby. Just wondering if anyone else heard that, since I know soooo many kids with nut allergies these days.
Sounds like a great night out though! Have fun!!

Thanks so much, Elyse, for sharing–I was never told that by my OB but I think it’s valuable information to research further! Good luck with your pregnancy!!
